Dr Katie Frankish
Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist

Dr Katie Frankish is a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist with experience working with children of all ages and their families. She completed her medical degree at the University of Sydney and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists. She has completed advanced training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and is a Member of the College’s Faculty of Child and Adolescent Psychiatrists.
Dr Frankish has worked in both inpatient and outpatient settings across Sydney including Redbank House at Westmead, the Blacktown Early Access Team and the Northern Beaches Child and Youth Mental Health Service. She has also worked to help establish a school based program called “Getting on Track in Time” for young children with disruptive behaviour problems in Western Sydney.
Dr Frankish believes in providing compassionate and holistic care and in working with parents and families to support children and adolescents with a range of mental health and emotional difficulties. She is able to provide assessment and treatment drawing from a variety of medical and psychological approaches.
