Talia is a warm and engaging clinical psychologist who has extensive knowledge, understanding and skills in the assessment and treatment of a broad range of developmental, behavioural, and emotional issues that children, adolescents, young adults and their family’s experience.
She truly enjoys helping young people and their families work through the challenges they are experiencing, strengthen their relationships, and learn to access their own internal resources. In time, her clients develop the skills and confidence to not only manage the ups and downs of life but also thrive and achieve their potential.
Talia also has a special interest in supporting parents through the difficulties their children may be experiencing and managing the general stressors of family life.
Talia is caring and genuine and her approach is pragmatic and client-centred. Talia works from a strengths-based, collaborative approach and utilises a range of evidence-based psychological therapies determined by her client’s needs, issues and personal preferences. Her strong interest and commitment to uncovering her client’s internal strengths is informed by the growing evidence for strength-based therapies and positive psychology.
Talia has significant experience working both in child and adolescent community mental health and private practice. She completed her Bachelor of Psychology degree at the University of New South Wales and Masters of Clinical Psychology at the University of Wollongong.
